Regional infrastructure can support a unified offer of video, evidence and support.

Market signal
On August 27, MTN announced a partnership to develop digital infrastructure through Africa Data Hub Holding Limited, initially in South Africa and Nigeria. The initiative combines operator assets with specialist datacenter investment and operating expertise.
What it means for the ISP
For a regional ISP, the lesson is to organize networks and datacenters around a consistent customer experience. A branch network needs repeatable onboarding, site-level permissions and one accountable incident contact, as well as connectivity.
Start with a cohort of sites and measure onboarding cost, support requests, availability and evidence access time. Centralized operations may reduce repetitive work, but create dependence on the regional node. Local continuity and recovery tests belong in the budget.
How it connects with Horus ISP
Horus ISP provides a framework connecting cameras, events, evidence, permissions and apps in multi-tenant operations. The proposed design keeps capture and immediate response near the camera, consolidates management and regional retention in the datacenter, and uses cloud for authorized functions.
MTN’s partnership is a market signal, not a Horus integration or proof of profitability for smaller operators. Infrastructure size should follow contracted demand.
